The "Cover Our Kids" Arena

Five years ago Vinceremos started a capital campaign to raise funds to build a covered arena.  The construction of an arena would be a great addition to the facility and allow us to provide year round services to our riders. We no longer have to worry about the afternoon thunderstorms or the summer heat. The addition of the arena to the Vinceremos facility would mean that our riders, volunteers and horses would be much more comfortable.

There is great news, the arena is completed, 45,500 sq ft under cover. The arena was built by Hedrick Brothers Construction  and engineered by Alan Gerwig and Associates.

Special equestrian footing, fencing and irrigation are being fitted by Equestrian Services International, Brett Raflowitz and his crew. These companies have worked hard to meet our budgets and provide us with a first rate establishment.

The Arena can be divided into 3 rings and is lit, allowing for multiple and evening classes during the busy part of the day, after school. The potential exists to hold clinics, demonstrations and shows without any threat from the weather.

We will hold the Grand Opening of the “Cover Our Kids” arena on January 16th, 2012 at 3 pm, in addition we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary and the Superheroes that have supported our efforts over the years. The festivities will include special guests including the Mayor of Loxahatchee Groves, Dave Browning and our distinguished Board of Directors. We will be paying tribute to our Superheroes through the afternoon. There will be riding demonstrations given by the Vinceremos students riding and carriage driving along with a special exhibition by the U.S. Para Equestrian Team, who will be in residence for local competitions to qualify for the 2012 Paralympics in London.

We hope that you will mark this date on your calendar and share this momentous occasion with everyone at Vinceremos, our superheroes, students, volunteers and supporters.
